Common questions

What It Costs to Get It Sorted

How does your upfront fixed pricing work?

Before any tool touches your drain, we look the job over and give you one fixed price in writing. Nothing gets added later, even if the blockage takes longer to shift than we first thought. There's no hourly rate ticking away in the background, and no follow-up invoice for extras.

What does "from $89" actually include?

Straightforward blocked drains start from $89, covering a standard clear with a jet blast or drain machine on typical household blockages. Anything more involved, like a full CCTV inspection or relining, gets its own fixed quote confirmed before we touch a thing, so you always know the price first.

Do prices change once you start?

No, pricing it before we start is exactly so it can't move on you later. Once you've given the go-ahead on our quote, that figure holds. If something unexpected turns up, we pause, show you what's changed, and get the go-ahead before doing another thing.

What discounts do you offer?

New customers get $65 off their first service, and the offers don't stop there. Add a free CCTV drain inspection with any jet blast, a free plumbing inspection when a job comes to $200 or more, and a premium garden tap fitted on the house with any paid job. Seniors save 20% off the total, and every offer above stacks with the rest.

Common questions

Licensing, Insurance and Responsibility

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

Yes, a lifetime labour warranty applies automatically, not as something you need to request. Should our own workmanship be the reason a job needs revisiting, that return visit is free.

Do wipes really block drains?

Definitely, whatever the packet says. Wet wipes hold their shape in water for a lot longer than paper ever does, which means they catch on the smallest rough patch inside a pipe and start collecting everything that comes after them. Given enough of them, that catch becomes a proper stoppage. The bin is the safer trip for these, every time.

Can I clear a blocked drain myself?

For something minor, like a sink draining slowly, basic home fixes are fine to try first. A genuine drain blockage is different: NSW rules mean only a licensed plumber can legally take it on, and there's a reason for that, since a wrong move can crack a pipe or drive the blockage in deeper.

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?

It depends where the blockage sits. The pipework between your house and the boundary is on you to maintain, while the water authority takes over from the boundary onward. If you're not sure which side it's on, we can check for you.

Common questions

When We Can Come

How fast can you get here?

Get in touch before it worsens and, more often than not, we're clearing it that same day. How soon depends on the day's run, but getting there fast is the standard we work to, not a lucky exception.

What counts as a drain emergency?

Water that has nowhere left to go: think sewage rising back up inside, a stormwater pit that can't keep up and floods the yard, or two fixtures giving up at once. Any of those is a stop-what-you're-doing, call-now situation.

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes. A real person answers the phone, not a machine or a call centre, whatever time it is. A midnight callout gets treated exactly like a Tuesday-morning one.

What happens after I call?

A few quick questions tell us what we're dealing with, and we settle on a time together, often the same day. On arrival we confirm the cost before touching anything, then get the drain moving again.

Common questions

Local Answers for Glenmore Park

What suburbs do you service?

Glenmore Park is home turf, and we cover the neighbouring suburbs too, including Penrith, Jamisontown, Emu Plains, Kingswood and Cambridge Park. Not seeing your suburb here? Ring us regardless, we're probably closer than you think.

Do tree roots cause many blockages around Glenmore Park?

Constantly. The plantings that went in through the estate's 1990s sections have had decades to mature, and mature roots go looking for moisture at every PVC joint on the sewer and stormwater lines. A CCTV run usually confirms it within minutes.

Why do Glenmore Park's older homes get blocked drains?

A lot of the estate went in through the 1980s-2000s building wave, on brick-veneer homes built straight onto a slab. The PVC pipework from that era holds up fine on its own, but joints under mature gardens are where roots get in, and that's what causes most of the call-outs we get.

How local are you, really?

As local as it gets without giving you a street address, which we don't publish. Our team knows the estate, the shops and the schools, and works this patch regularly, not as a job dropped in from somewhere else.
